Marianne Kürsteiner is chief editor of the French-language architecture magazine Idea, which she has helped to build up for 16 years. In addition, the mother of an adult son writes and wrote for the magazines at-Aktuelle Technik, Hotelier, Architektur+Technik and Traumhaus, all of which are published by BL Verlag.

 

The graduate translator DOZ, is bilingual and has earned her spurs after her training with various specialist publishers and in the press department of Kuehne + Nagel, often building a bridge to French-speaking Switzerland.

 

Today, the 1959-born professional woman lives together with her partner in Ottenbach, from where they like to cycle, travel or meet with friends and family in their free time. Marianne Kürsteiner is not only interested in languages and different cultures for professional reasons, she actively seeks contact with them.
